Butch (6 y/o ferret with insulomia) will be having a kidney removed on
Friday. What should I expect, do I need to change his diet or anything?
The kidney is being removed (along with a huge blood clot in his bladder) due
to an accident on Wednesday morning, he got stepped on. We have him
stabilized and he's resting as well as can be expected with a catheter so he can pass
urine.
