There have been some kits with year with sepsis and sometimes cellulitis which have been mistaken for JL. The cause might be pseudomonas (if memory serves) or that may have hit some as a secondary infection.

We REALLY wish that we had removed Chiclet's node up front, but our vet was away, by the time our vet was back she wasn't up to the surgery, and frankly no one knew much at all about these infections at the time.
