Baytril 10mg/kg twice per day: Clavamox better then Amoxi 14mg/kg twice per
day. Often combination antibiotics work better to get resistant
populations. You also must coupage the chest and if you have access to it
nebulization is great to get fine particulate moisture in the chest to help
loosen the material and allow them to cough it up (which is where coupage
also comes in). Another point to remember is determining whether you are
truly dealing with a bacterial pneumonia, since other considerations are
fungal, foreign body (including aspiration), etc. Hope this helps. Be
certain it is truly a pneumonia. Best of Luck to you.
