I've always let my ferrets decide when they're ready for exercise after surgery. I've had 2 that the next day, if it wasn't for the stitches, you'd never have guessed they'd just had major surgery. They were so restless in their cage, biting at the wire and digging furiously, that I had to let them out because I was afraid they'd do themselves harm. Fria will let you know when she's ready, though I would suggest keeping her separate from the rest, or at least very closely supervised, until her incision heals.
Just my 2 cents.

The reason I left her out was because the vet said to make sure she gets
exercise. But I think I'll take your advice on keeping her confined for a
week, because after watching how she did out walking, she just doesn't seem
ready.
