Subject: Dehydration, Please Help!

Our great day of improvements has quickly gone downhill. This evening we
noticed that Fria's water hadn't gone down much, and she hadn't soiled her
potty area. We got her out to check her out, give meds and some Nutrical,
and when my fiancee finished giving her the antibiotic her neck was still
standing up where he had her scruffed. To make sure we weren't seeing
things, he pinched the skin again and it's not flattening out.
We immediately tried getting some Pedialyte into her, and finally got her
to take approximately 5 1/2 tbsp. from a spoon, though it had Nutrical
mixed in. She refused it any other way. Her skin seemed a bit less doughy
afterwards, but not quite normal.
She suddenly seems disinterested in the water in her cage, which is clean,
fresh water. She also seems to be more groggy and sleepy tonight. I'll
check back here for messages shortly, but if she doesn't cooperate enough
to get more in her soon and I still don't have any replies, I'm just
heading straight to the vet with her.
