Subject: max and his eye

My Max was playing today and when he went to his cage I noticed his right eye was closing and appeared painful. As I have had ferrets with this I know it is a corneal scratch, but no vets are open except the emergency center and I am in a financial pinch due to my recovering from leukemia. I WILL take him if you guys say it is the only way, of course. Is there any thing I can do before Monday or any eye drop I can use that an adult may use? Thank you.
