A really good vet accepts input and tries new things.
It sounds like you have a really good vet. Our vet
has been treating ferrets for something like 34 years
and is pretty well known for it. He still conferred
with other vets when my ferrets had unusual problems
and tried suggestions which came from this list. Kodo
was happy for a whole lot longer thanks to a
suggestion Sukie posted, for example. Kudos to the
vets and the experienced ferret owners who post here.
You guys are great.

Thanks for being dedicated enough to go through
whatever treatments he needs and making the effort and
paying the price. I know the extra time we've gotten
with our very ill ferrets, even when it was brief, was
well worth it if they were still happy.

Treasure your quality time with Bear. Spoil him
rotten. I'm sure he's worth it.

All the best,
Caity and the fantastic four
