My name is Angela I'm an PreVet student at Rutgers University, work at a Vet

Hey Angela, I am Jamie. I own four fuzzies. I actually just had to take
one of my ferts to the vet last week and have the blood tests done under light
sedation. They shave the neck and take the blood and they are back to in
about 20 minutes. I know they got really good blood samples and it showed what
all we needed to know. Affinity was stressed basically. How long have you
had your ferret? They stress very easily. That can also be a culprit, but I
am not sure with the + protein in the urine. I would get that checked again
also. I personally think it is more humane to do it under sedation, but the
anesthesia also stresses them. I don't know if this helped any, but maybe it
did!
