The only experience I have with Lupron is with the 4 month depot, I got the 1000mcg shot every 4-6 months for a ferret that I had. That comes out to about 250mcg per month. It took about 1 month ( maybe less) to see the symptoms resolve and they stayed gone until almost 6 months later when I got the next shot.
I am thinking that you give the shot when the vulva starts to swell, and you can even up the dose if you are using the monthly depot. NOw if you are using the daily lupron as a monthly shot, then that may explain something.
Does she have other symptoms that are being helped by the lupron, like regrowth of fur, less dry skin, etc.
