congestion?

The cough could be due to fluid in the lungs which is congestion and the
lasix is to help remove thisl An enlarged heart can lead to this. Also
along with enlarged heart comes heart failure and generally night coughs are
cardiac in origin. Were x rays done? I assume yes or how could they
diagnose enlarged heart. Not all animals with fluid in their lungs cough so
if there is congestion that is related to the heart then yes you need to
give it. Also talk to the vet about your questions and concerns and perhaps
they can clarify for you too Best of luck.
