There don't seem to be any known negative side effects of giving melatonin to ferrets except that they can get tired the frist few days.

You can give 1 mg at the time of Winter dusk each day or you can go for the implant. I havne't found the liquid around here and instead crush a tablet and use it in meat baby food.
