Subject: [ferrethealth] Possible bladder stone?

I would suspect the problem is adrenal related, rather than a stone.
Urinary tract problems are very common in adult male ferrets.

Is Nanook straining when he urinates? Is he showing any signs of fur loss
or coat thinning, specially on the shoulders and/or at the base of the tail.
(Not the tail itself) Is Nanook looking more lean than normal?

More information, about adrenal disease in ferrets, (and other maladies as
well!!) your vet might enjoy reading, can be found at Mike Janke's web site,
'South Florida Ferret Help Line', in the 'Ferret Health Care' section. The
link here will take you there: http://miamiferret.org/fhc/

been having frequent small pees, and is dribbling some urine. He is
eating/drinking/playing fine.
