Separate the Carafate from other meds by at least a half hour.
Ask your vet for a prescription of the liquid version of carafate which pharmacies have; they mind it less.
Talk with your vet about seeing if the ferret responds well to a small trial of Diazoxide. If so, the Pred can be cut back.
Lasix can reduce a ferret's ability to small and that reduces eating. Try warming food to give it odor.
