and that is how ascites tends to look (though other things can look that way, too). Often it also will have a sort of water-balloon feel to it if you lay the ferret on your thighs and tap the sides of the abdomen, bu tif it is too tight it may not.
I'd really get her to the vet pronto if she were one of our's.
