Oh, the second page just came up.
Okay, Shelley wrote it, but it's old. Have you asked her permission,
or if she has a more recent write-up? I'll see if I have her addy
handy and ask her if I do.
I have never heard of a 70% remission rate with lymphosarcoma. Who
wrote this? I'd love more details on where that number comes from.
I've heard more along the lines of 10% to 15%, including with use of
those drugs in ferrets who are best chance candidates.
Lasix only controls the fluid problems with cardiomyopathy. Management
is more complex.
I'm not keen on the Triaminic mention for "colds" partly because the
things they get are more serious than colds and this may delay
treatment, and partly because I am not sure that all formulations of
this med actually are safe for ferrets.
*****All in all, it's a pretty good write-up but very out of date. We
still need author's permission to have it in there or it becomes a
copyright violation.*****
