What medication and at what doses is she on for her adrenal disease?
I ask because you say that she "has started to show her age" and if Lysodren (which is usually not used any longer due to variable response) is used sometimes there can be such strong adrenal atrophy that Addisons becomes a risk. I doubt that is being used because few vets do for ferrets any longer, but it would be good to know the details of what is being given. I worried that perhaps you meant you are seeing lethargy and failure to eat.
