Well I don't have any experience with the drug itself, but here are some numbers of the manufacturers that might be able to help you. I would ask customer service to speak with a Vet in their tech services department to discuss extra lable use on ferrets.

I hope this helps, these are the only manufacturers I could find of the drug. It's funny b/c I first heard of the drug yesterday, one of my vets told me she uses it for cats.
