Angelica,

If your vet does not specialize in ferrets, and does not know about the Tennessee panel, you should really think about switching to a vet that does. My first vet told me straight up that she could do this test but since she was not a specialist, she would not be able to interpret the results. I am not sure if you have had this test taken on one of your ferrets yet, or are thinking of doing it.. but the test is I think $75 (or so it says on the Tennessee Universities' website..) but usually lab charges get tacked onto that and it winds up being close to $200, if not more in some places. I paid $200.

Let me know what's going on...
