The only method that would get my girl Ziya to take her metro without
a fight was to mix it in with her daily soup (2-3tbsp of soup per
dose)... she would lap up the soup, and never notice the meds.
If your kids are taking their soup well, with good appetites, I'd try
that... assuming nobody has any secondary problems like insulinoma
(where maintaining blood sugar is important), leaving the food dish
empty overnight and giving the soup first thing in the morning always
ensured my girl was hungry enough to finish it all (and get all her
meds) without a problem.
