In more than 10 years of rescue, we have seen our share of pandas, blazes (
more hearing deficient than not) amongst our resident numbers.
I cannot say that we have ever had premature death of these oddly marked
ferrets.
There have been some bladder cysts, and the usual adrenal / insulinoma
issues, and in the case of 9plus yo Farenece a retro bulbar tumor.
Usually the panda blaze kids under our care are ranging 7-8 or more in age
at time of death which we consider to be in the norm for ferrets especially
the early altered variety.

However, I can state that we have never had one with the above markings
which had cardio problems.
Just a generalized observation-- but I sometimes wonder where cardio
problems themselves do seem to be far more prevalent to us than in the
years past...

Is it again ( the cardio problem) conributed to by diet ?
