Sukie is right in stating that there really is no difference in the early
alter ferrets.

In fact I DO know of folks who purchased imported early alter ferrets at
high premiu8ms only to find by age 3 they also had adrenal problems. It is
not the source as far as health goes-- it is IMO early alter procedures
which cause the lack of immune system development thus lack of defense in
health compromising conditions. So Marshall Ferets will fare no differently
from Path Valley, or any other mill ferret in that perspective.

As for the acne on the tail - a warm sudsy wash with a washcloth little
vigor on the affected tail should help free the oils which have clogged in
the pores. Also use a mild acne cleanser like oxyscrub BUT for sensitive
skin that usually helps tremendously.
