What do you mean by 'extraneous spotting'? Is roaning the same as spotting? I
ask because my 18 month old ferret Venus is a sable roan mitt, with 4 symetrical
mitts that cover to just above her feet, with a full and cleanly margined bib. She
doesn't have any white spots or anything, just the roaning.
