Oh, if the diazoxide doesn't work for her and the Pred actually is causing her problems then if her Pred has to be cut back you could add dietary sugars. Usually it's best to leave that for a last resort, but it's something that used to be used many years ago, and for one ages ago we got something like 3/4 of a year with that always available. It' safer than leaving her glucose levels too low.
