Depending on where you live, it may be natural lighting, temps and such that is
causing the seasonal fur growth, and sometimes this comes with weight gain. This
seasonal change can also happen with adrenal gland disease, and you may see the
fur loss and changes again in the late winter, or spring. Time will tell. But yes, it
can happen.

I had two ferrets that lost their fur, regrew it, and one lost it again in the spring, the
other I had surgery done and even though all the fur regrew, the adrenal gland was
huge, and bilateral. Now, your situation is different. I think I too may not attempt a
3rd surgery, since at this point it may be very hard to find the atopic adrenal tissue.
Or , perhaps the right was not 100% removed and some grew back? Not simple
decisions at this point, it sounds like you have a good vet to talk to about it.

Does this mean you are not giving lupron yet? How about melatonin? THis may help
keep things going the way they are.

Does any of this make any sense? I am delighted to see her hair regrowth and
shrunken vulva, but it doesn't seem to follow any research I have ever read. Any
tips or experience would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
