Notice that adrenal growths are still the number one cause of blocking by a good margin.

Notice also that cystine stones are still far from common and the most common stone types can be related to a diet too high in plant foods. Just recognize that PERHAPS cystine stones which would not show up in vulnerable ferrets fed a lower protein diet might show up now with more people now shifting to a higher protein diet, so it just pays to let your vet know what you feed, too, and to be thorough in checking for causes of blocking.
