The vet called me the following day (yesterday) and said that infection was
found in the node under the right arm. And lymphoma was found in the node from
behind the knee - is this a good source for diagnosis? Should I ask for a
biopsy to be done before I consider treatment?

With separate diagnoses from the two areas - I would really want to see a
biopsy done before jumping into treating with anything like chemotherapy. If
they both had come back as strongly consistent with lymphoma, that would be a
different thing.

If it does end up being lymphoma, aggressive chemo vs other treatment plans
is something that needs to be given a great deal of thought. In my experience,
the success rate of treating lymphoma in ferrets is not high, and even if
remission is achieved, the length of time the ferret is in remission is not long.
Others have had different experiences.
