I posted this early but did not see it. So I will try it again.
My ferret, Polo, is having surgery Tues. 9-7 to remove an ulcerated tumor on
his hip. It is about the size of a nickle. I was wondering what to expect
after the surgery, and what to watch for, and any tips to help prevent problems.
This is my first ferret surgery, so I am nervous and not sure what to expect
afterwards. Behavior, does he need pain meds for a day or two, How to clean the
wound, and will be eat his kibble on his own or do I need to feed him duck
soup.
