Thank you for your reply Dr Ruth,
I called my vet after posting here and asked her how certain she felt about
the diagnosis. She said that she was certain and said something about
malignant cells being found. When I asked about the 'infection' found in
the other node, she said that it was consistant with signs of infection, but
you would also see similar reactions to the lymphoma, so she couldn't be
sure that infection was the cause.
I will discuss having a biopsy done though.
