ree, anytime there is an incision this equals inflammation which equals pai=
n. I would prefer to use a NSAID for take home only because of the longer =
duration of pain relief that it has over an Opiod like torb and because it =
has the anti-inflammatory properties too. Are you spreading the dose of th=
e Metacam out? I would assume that there hasn't been much research done on=
how ferrets metabolize NSAIDS and if we should give it less then everyday.=
(like in cats). It's great to hear that you haven=92t had any adverse eve=
nts occur with the Metacam so far (knock on wood), I will ask for that next=
