Hello Everyone,
I'm really frustrated and feel at a complete loss. I will be taking our lit=
tle guy to the vet again this Tuesday since it's the weekend and Monday is =
a holiday. Cody is 4yrs old and he keeps having the same problem. I have th=
ree boys and they all came down with a cold when this first started. Cody (=
our ferret)started sneezing and he kept sneezing and sneezing. He had no ot=
her symtoms, just sneezing. I took him to the vet immediately. His weight w=
as fine, eating and drinking normal and no diarrhea. He gave him a shot and=
some liquid antibiotics and said he has a upper respiratory infection. Wit=
hin 7-10 days he was back to normal. About 8 weeks later he had the same sy=
mptoms. They treated him the same as before. He was fine. Happened again ab=
out 8-10 weeks later. Treated the same except they gave him a different ant=
ibiotic. The Vet mentioned that he may be having allergies. Has anyone hear=
d of or experienced that befoe? He recovered just fine. It's been about 6 w=
eeks and (no one in our house has been sick at all) he just started having =
the same symtoms again! I absolutely love this little guy. He is our third =
ferret. Our other two lived very long "healthy" lives. He is well taken car=
e of. He has had annual check ups and has always been fine. Please any advi=
ce would be greatly appreciated and welcomed. I just want to do whats best =
for him. Sorry for it being sooo long just wanted to give his history. =
Thanks again,
Lisa
