I found a great brush for when my girls shed... it was in the cat
supply section of my local pet store, and it's made entirely of
rubber. Instead of bristles it has rubber 'teeth' on it, which is
nice because instead of having to pay attention to making sure the
brush is getting through their hair thoroughly, you just grab them and
rub it on them, and the loose hair sticks to it like you wouldn't
believe!
The bonus is that since it's rubber, they all want to chew on it, so I
can turn "pin the squirming ferret down long enough to brush them"
into a game instead...
