The 'soup' recipe my girls get (and love... pulled one of them through
a bout of ulcers, and is now supporting her after surgery) is:

1/2 cup regular kibble - ground up
~4T olive oil
~2T cod liver oil
(those two could be substituted with some ferretone)
1 can tuna
(I discovered one of my old ferrets liked it better with tuna
instead of a can of chicken, so I stuck with it.)
1 whole egg - with shell ground up
6 scoops Nupro powder
2 freeze dried beef/chicken patties
(could be substituted with a couple jars of baby food, or a can of a/d)
add enough water to make it all easy to blend up

I freeze it in an ice cube tray and keep it in the freezer for 'treat
dinners' and sick babies.
When they're *really* not eating anything solid (which is often when
they're not drinking on their own either), I add extra water to the
thawed cube to make it a really soupy consistency and help keep them
hydrated, and they lap it right up.
