Greetings again,

I thought it would be best if I kept this topic separate from my post on
Fria. One of my mother's ferrets who lives with me for now, Kodo, is
showing signs of Adrenal Disease. He has the classic symmetrical hair loss
just above his tail. We're currently waiting on the Tenn. panel test results.

But we noticed some other odd things about his skin, now that it's so easy
to see with less fur. He has little red dots all over. They look to small
to be left by other ferrets nipping during play, and too small to be
scratches. It actually looks like he was poked all over his body with a
needle. He's also scratches himself constantly, which I know could be from
an adrenal problem, but these red dots everywhere worry us. My first
thought was "Oh my goodness, fleas!" But after checking the rest of the
gang, that doesn't seem like that's what it could be. Everyone else's skin
looks pretty good.

I'm really at a loss about what this could be. Does anyone have any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take care,
Jen
