With acne on the tail, washing their tails every other day for about a
week with a generic salicyclic acid acne face wash gel will clear up
the acne, and then the hair should come back in either on it's own or
with the next coat change. :-)
If the hair doesn't come back with the coat change, then start
worrying about other causes.
