This morning my ferret got up for his meds, (he has insulinoma), and he couldn't stand up without falling on his side and rolling over and his head was tilted. I took him to the vet and his blood glucose was 81. He's been like this all day and we can't bring him out of it, he gets a little better and then worsens. All he'll eat is Gerber's chicken w/ gravy and will barely drink water.

The vet said as soon as he's stablized he wants to do exploratory surgery as soon as possible, suspecting adrenal disease. He also has crystals in his urine, which we've been unsuccessful at clearing up.

Has anyone had experience with this, and what was the outcome?
