Lysodren is a real problem drug in ferrets. For some it doesn't work. In others it causes adrenal atrophy. It was the "latest thing" something like 18 years ago, but was soon widely abandoned due to poor experiences. (Back then the developing researchers also advised guarding it from saliva and water so we would give it in dense oil based substances.)
