First of all, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.

Kodo had a CBC done on the 7th, and I've posted his results at my site at
http://www.hideyhole.org/kodo/kodoblood.html I'm certainly no doctor, but
I am concerned with some of the values in his bloodwork. His RBC was only
5.19 M/mm^3 which seems to be very low when I looked at the normal
range. His PLT (which I think is his platelet count, correct me if I'm
wrong) was 245 m/mm^3, which is also below normal.

The only thing the vet pointed out as abnormal was his RBC, so maybe I'm
worrying over variations that don't say much about his health. But there
wasn't a great deal of time to discuss the values with the vet, so I was
hoping someone here might be able to help.

Could someone that has a better understanding than I on bloodwork results
take a look at his results? Once again, his results are posted at
http://www.hideyhole.org/kodo/kodoblood.html

Also, has anyone else seen these little red dots on their ferrets skin? Or
has anyone else seen them associated with a low platelet count as Julie
mentions? He looks as if he were used as a pincushion. I'm just trying to
get an idea of what all possibilities there may be to explain this.

Thank you,
Jen
