Platelet count is okay, no where near low enough to be causing the red dots.
The RBC is low. He has an anemia, don't know the cause or source which
would be the next thing to figure out. Difficult to say what it is since
what you percieve as red sots may be different. However if I recall you
mentioned adrenal disease and itching and this is consistent with self
mutilation which could be resolved with correction of adrenal problem. For
now you can also try medicated shampoo with an oatmeal rinse. Hope this
helps. Oh by the way the anemia could also be secondary to adrenal.
