>From a post on fhl 9/12, Dr. Sari Kanfer DVM, stated that `Antihistamines a=
t high doses` has some beneficial effects on Adrenal ferrets. Since I have =
an Adrenal male, "Luky", he is on Melatonin, ferretone for the bare skin, v=
itamines, etc...., but surgery is not an option at this time. The Melatonin=
has reduced his itchyness, and his `constant` pursuit of one of his female=
cagemates. `Ruby` even comes running to me for help(pick-up rescue!), from=
the pursuit! Is this true about the antihistamines doses, helping in some =
way with our fur-challenged jills?? None of my brood are whole. fyi. Also, =
are we talking about anti`s like Benedryl and the like?? Dosage??? This int=
erests me, as another "aid" for the Adrenals we all seem to eventually own =
at least one, thru the years!! thank you. john r. jdr. doodle1bug@peoplepc=
