I do NOT know about the bleeding of pregnant jills, but ferret's don't get colds so coughs need to be taken seriously in them.

(Colds are caused by rhinoviruses whcih they don't get, but like humans they can get bacterial sinus infections which are more serious than colds, Influenza A which also is more serious than a cold, and other infections more serious than those two types.)
