Subject: Is this a sign of agression?

Recently our 3.5 year old male, Nanook, has been latching onto our other ferret's ear/neck, and not letting go. He has never done this before. He latches on, and just lays there, and won't let go when we prod or 'poke' him or otherwise try to distract him. Could this be a sign of agression? as in Adrenal disease agression?
