Note your own sentence "He has never done this before." A change in behavior which is more aggressive, sexual in nature, or extremely babying should make a person think that an adrenal neoplasum is possible.

Because of the risk of urinary blockage due to secondary prostate swelling adrenal disease is more of a risk for males than females.

Your options that I can think of offhand include: exam and observation watching for more clear signs and carefully monitoring ability to urinate several times a day (Be ready to have an emergency appointment if he becomes unable to urinate; know beforehand all the details of where to go for an emergency and whom to call.), or you might choose to have the TN Panel done, or you may choose to have an exploratoy done, or you may choose to try a Lupron shot to see if anything changes over time, or some combination.
