My 4 year old boy Edgar is currently on the 4-mon depot of Lupron (250mcg/month) and I want to start him on propecia again to prevent another blockage (he had one 6 months ago). I took him off propecia once he started the Luproin, thinking that would be enough, but I am worried again. Probably for no reason...but anyways. I have the perscription already and am starting with 1mg SID, but once I get to the 0.1mg SID for maintenance, how do I give such a small dosage? I tried compound 1 mg with 10ml of cherry syrup from the vet, but the Propecia appeared to be insoluble in it. I noticed someone on the forum had their pharmacist compound it in ferretone...but I wanted to see how others have accomplished this. I would ask the pharmacist I am getting the propecia from, but they are pretty rude there and don't want to cause trouble. Thanks for your help everyone!!!!
