Subject: Prostate Enlargement question

How can I check to see if prostate enlargement is what is causing the bladder issues for my boy ferret? (See my message about urinalysis results) I am assuming it is, hence the propecia I started him on, but would you recommend doing an x-ray or an ultrasound to make sure? Also, as I mentioned in a different post, the vets i work for are not very ferret savy, so what should I tell them to look for in an x-ray or ultrasound to see if his prostate is enlarged? Note: We couln't tell today if his prostate was grossly enlarged upon plapation...we used my healthy boy ferret Cody as a comparison and they felt the same. Thanks a lot!
