Check their blood sugar levels, What you describe is more consistent with the blood glucose dropping too low as insulinoma advanced or not being well enough maintained. How many times a day are they getting their meds?

If they have gained a lot of weight from the Pred then they will slow down just from the chore of moving excess weight so do consider that, too, but be SURE that the blood sugar levels are checked again.)

They also do slow down slightly going into Autumn and Winter.
