Sorry to piggyback my own post.

Stewart was up drinking water about 30 minutes after I posted this. He was steady,
no shaking & no head tilt. He just laid down like he was sleepy & he passed away.
It was just that quick. Not sure what else to say now. He'll be cremated later today
& brought home to be where he should be. I let the other babies say g'bye to him.
That was the hardest thing to watch ever I think. Thanks for any posts that i've not
seen.

I am sorry to read this. If the infection got too bad it could eat through the auditory
bulla to the brain (extremely rare but I've read of handful), or if the infection was
massive sepsis may have occured.
