Without knowing more, I agree with Mike that it seems
kind of extreme. It is, however, important that he
eat. Whenever any of my ferret are under the weather,
I give them warmed Gerber Stage 2 baby food chicken
(or turkey or lamb). If they need fluids, I also add
a little water to it. I have the best luck if I feed
it off my finger. If they haven't had any before, you
may have to rub some on their mouth to get accustomed
to it. I don't even wait to see if they eat their
kibble. You can also mix it with the A/D. Warming it
is important since it will be smellier that way. If
you just give A/D, I would warm that too. Sometimes I
can't get them to eat much at any one time, so I just
feed them more frequently.
