No, it's not. Our Lady Ayeka has been on pred first
for insulinoma and then for lymphoma. It's been a
total of nearly three years. She's still a little
wired weasel, our dominant alpha, who loves to play
and wrestle.
Podo started on pediapred (prednisolone) at almost
nine years old. He didn't slow down until other
medical problems developed about 10-11 months later.
You may want to have your vet check to see if
something else is going on. Blood work and an
examination seem like a good idea to me.
