I took her to the vet last night (the first appt. I could get) and she's also in kidney failure. The little thing is so weak, the vet said she's not a candidate for surgery at this point. Not knowing what is going on with her liver exactly, he's put her on amoxycillin and she'll be getting SubQ fluids administered by yours truly (say a prayer I don't hurt my her).

I'm so very concerned about her. Last night she was tightening up her tummy and whimpering. This was 11:00 pm and all I could do was crush some Aleve and give it to her. About an hour later she settled down and went to sleep. This morning, she was moving a bit better, kind of weak, but she was ravenous and although appeared to be uncomfortable, she wasn't tightening up her tummy. I put a call into the vet and I'm picking up some pain meds after work. He said if she isn't getting better by early next week, that it would be best to put her to sleep. I hope that's not the outcome
