A friend's ferret, Bandit, was, I think, the first ferret ever tried with chemo for lympho other than just Pred. Bandit was also in the prime years. He was 3 years old at the time. He went into remission and made it into his 8th year before he finally passed away. Katie and her vet did a LOT of back and forth (both physicially and in communication) with consulting and treating specialists in at least two states for him and he had the original Jeglum protocol. Now there are several possible chemo protocols for ferrets which are in texts and much is widely known, and I supect all approaches and vets using them are improving all the time. I think that the success rate is still not very high, but I'd bet it's better than the last time I heard any numbers.
